Welcome to Year 5S
Welcome back to another year at Millington! Your child's teacher is Miss Sleator and classroom assistant is Mrs Shilliday.
Remember you need to bring:
- a wipeable pencil case with pencils, a sharpener, a rubber, a glue stick, a ruler, felt tip pens, highlighters and colouring pencils
- a water bottle
- a packet of tissues
- a healthy snack
- packed lunch (no nuts allowed)
- a coat

Your child's homework will be completed on the Seesaw App this year. Please download the Seesaw App to connect to your child's account. The family code is for parent’s/guardian’s device. The child’s code should be downloaded on the device that they will be using to complete, photograph and send their homework’s.
*** Children will also have to have some stationary at home for completing homeworks as well as a small dictionary for looking up spelling definitions. ****
Some upcoming dates for Term 3:
Term 3 begins: Monday 12th April 2021.
Bank Holiday closures: Friday 30th April, Monday 1st May, Monday 31st May and Tuesday 1st June 2021.
Last day of school: Wednesday 30th June 2021.

A game which helps pupils when rounding to 10, 100 and 1000. This resource is very visual and helps understanding in this area.

A fantastic resource to encourage the learning of table facts. This resource is especially useful for children who enjoy playing computer games as your child can progress through different levels and collect items.
