** We would ask you to ensure that your child's name is on their lunch box, school bag, coat, all parts of their uniform and their PE kit as well as their PE bag as without this it can be an impossible task for us to locate lost property. **

  • Our PE days are Tuesdays and Fridays. Please come with your full PE kit on these days. It is helpful to have your PE kit ready the night before it is needed.

  • School dinners cost £2.60 per day - £13 per week.

ON THE FIRST DAY OF EACH WEEK (usually Monday) nono **

  • Some children will be going to After School activities.  Please remind your child before they come to school about picking them up at 4pm on these days.  If your child is unable to go to their activity please let their teacher know so that the message can be passed on, otherwise the teachers responsible for the activity may still be expecting them to turn up.

  • It is very useful for Parents / Guardians / Grandparents to download the school app onto your smart-phone as we will be sending important letters out during the year.  These will keep you informed as to what is going on in Y4 and the whole school.  If you still would like a paper copy of the letter then we will of course provide this for you if you let us know in writing. smiley

  • If your child is unable to attend school please let us know either by ringing Mrs Douglas in the office or send in an absence note on the day they return to school - there is a link underneath where you can print off a letter which you can use.

  • We would remind you to please inform us if your child has an infectious illness (such as chickenpox or shingles) as there is a child in school who could become seriously ill if they come into contact with such illnesses.

  • We must remind parents and guardians to please think carefully about what you send to school in your child’s lunchbox as there are several children with severe nut allergies who may be in your child’s class. For example, a lot of cereal bars contain nuts and most chocolate products have been made in a factory where nuts have been processed. You will find a link below to what our school advises but ‘if in doubt - leave it out’.
