'Learning together for a better tomorrow'

Well Being

We have been looking at stereotypes, discrimination and bullying in class. We compared and contrasted what we perceive young and old people to be like (stereotypes). Sometimes old people can be discriminated against. This is called ageism. It was very interesting to see what we as children think old people are like and what we perceive old people do and enjoy doing. They can be discriminated against and this form of bullying is called Ageism. We as children can also be discriminated against too sometimes due to our age.

Remembering those who lost their lives in conflict

We placed our stones we painted in art at the front of the school as an act of remembrance.

Our Class Guide Lines for a safe and happy classroom

As part of our health and wellbeing this year, Year 7M all put our heads together and came up with rules that would both keep everyone safe and happy. Here is our display of our agreed rules.

Relaxing by doodling in squares

As a way of relaxing we have been creative by being expressive by doodling inside squares. It is very good for expressing our mood, feelings and actually relaxing. We listened to music while doing this activity and as a whole class we really enjoyed the activity. We even surprised ourselves.
