Create a code that would show a message on the Microbit screen when started. Then pupils created a second code to ask a question and give an answer on a shake.
Coding a Pedometer.
Today we programmed our microbits to create a Pedometer. We firstly tried to attach the Pedometers to our wrists but we quickly found out the shake sensor wasn't sensitive enough. So we decided to attach the pedometers to our ankles. We had good fun walking around the many corridors in school to test whether we each walked the same amount of steps along the same route. What we found out was that we each accumulated different amounts. We concluded some of us we taking lots of small steps, while others were taking longer strides. A fun afternoon!
