Practical Maths - Odd and Even Dominoes

Today in class the children had to divide a set of dominoes into three groups -

* those with an even number of dots at both ends.
* those with an odd number of dots at both ends.
* those with an even number of dots at one end and an odd number of dots at the other end.
The children had to investigate and find out which group is the biggest?

Investigate
If you put them into two groups, those with an even total number of dots and then those with an odd total number of dots.  Which is the biggest?

Have  a look to see what we have been doing?
