'Learning together for a better tomorrow'

Our Christmas Assembly 2 on 'The Victorian Christmas'

On Thursday 5th December we performed the second of our two assemblies.  Our theme was 'The Victorian Christmas' when we learnt about where many of our Christmas tradtions came from e.g the Christmas tree, crackers, cards etc. Some of our teachers, including Mrs Murray, willingly came to the front to play a few traditional games that would have been played during Victorian times.  It was very entertaining and they were great sport! Most importantly we learnt about the real reason why Jesus came into the world: 'Christ Jesus came into the worlds to save sinners' 1 Timothy 1v15.  Have a peek at the pictures below.
