'Learning together for a better tomorrow'

NI Centenary

As a class and as a school, we had lots of fun activities to celebrate Northern Ireland becoming 100 years old.  We hope you enjoy a little peek!

You will see -

  • Non-uniform pictures under our colourful Union Flag bunting that we made.
  • A taste of UIster - Snacks of fruit loaf, wheaten bread and fifteens.
  • The sounds of Northern Ireland - a look, listen and play of a traditional instrument - the Piano accordion.
  • We also listened to songs about Northern Ireland and looked and talked about lots of our famous landscapes.
  • A special celebration lunch with Red, White and Blue cupcakes.
  • Tree planting ceremony.
  • Celebratory chocolate bars.
