Show don’t tell!

We are going to be writing a narrative about the music video Titanium.  We want to use expressive language to enhance our writing.  We have been focusing on -ed words like shocked, outraged, exhilarated to ms,e our writing more exciting.  This week we have been thinking about how to ‘show’ the reader what is happening rather than telling.  For example instead of saying The boy was sad.  We could say A tear slowly trickled down the boy’s cheek.  

We worked together to think of different ideas for different emotions.
