As a class we thought of different characteristics that a World War 1 soldier would have required.  In our groups we put these characteristics into a diamond ranking.

Discursive Writing

Our class novel is ‘War Horse’ by Michael Morpurgo.  We have been researching the role of horses and animals in World War I.  In groups we had to discuss the pros and cons for using animals in war.  Not everyone had the same opinion, however it prompted some interesting debates.
